INTRA/MD/MD010Mailbox and file store imaging
The holding of a copy of a named worker’s mailbox or file store as a whole, taken and kept whether or not anyone opens it. It is a state and not an event, which is what separates it from reading the content of a communication: an organization can hold an image it never opens, and can read a message it never imaged. What each answers for differs accordingly. The reading answers for its purpose and its proportionality. The holding answers for whether it was declared, and on what basis it is kept.
